Hi everyone!
It’s been a while but I’m finally back again to share a recent new discovery! This post is dedicated to Nail Boulevard, a salon helmed by two amazing nail manicurists from Vietnam with several years of experience under the belt.
Situated in Bras Basah complex, it’s only a quick walk away from City Hall, Bugis and Bras Basah MRT station. It’s honestly so convenient for people who work in the area or if you need a nail salon somewhere around town.
First impressions – the nail salon is fairly new, and I was told that it was redesigned just a year or so back. In fact, its clean lines and white, romantic interior décor was conceptualized by the manicurists themselves, with their top priority being customers’ comfort.

Just look at their cosy reception area! Soft colours, pink roses and even a Beauty and the Beast-inspired glass dome.

Now, enough about the salon and onto what I was there for! I had my mind on some mani-pedi designs and showed them to my manicurists, who gave me their honest opinions on which would work and which wouldn’t, taking into account my nail length and preferences (classy or fun, square-shaped or oval-shaped nails, diamantes or no?… and the list goes on).
I went with a lovely nude shade for my manicure in the end (one of my manicurists was wearing this shade and I thought that it was so pretty that I requested for the exact same colour on myself!), with marbling as accents, as well as some minimalistic nail art. As for my feet, I decided to be a little more fun and chose a spunky bubblegum pink.
Knowing that I had a bad throat on the day, the two lovely ladies brought me some homemade, organic Pandan tea that one of their mothers had sent over from Vietnam before the session started – truly, the kind of hospitality that will bring me back to any salon time after time.

We started off with a foot scrub and nail treatment (this includes pushing back cuticles, shaping and buffing nails as seen in the gif below, before moving onto the gel manicure application. Couldn’t have been more impressed that they used real fruit for all their foot baths!

And these are the final results! It’s been about 2 weeks since I got my gel mani on, and there’s been absolutely no chipping or wear-and-tear so far. Personally, the longevity of gel nails is one of THE most crucial factors for me, given that I know we all spend good money for gelish manicures. Nail Boulevard has definitely delivered on this aspect, so thank you Vaniday for the great new recommendation as always, and I can’t wait to be back!
